Therefore, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, and of love, and of soberness.

Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be cowardly.
Rest in LORD, and wait patiently for him. Fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Fret not thyself, [it tends] only to evil-doing. For evil-doers shall be cut off, but those who wait for LORD, they shall inherit the land.
If the spirit of the ruler rises up against thee, leave not thy place, for deference allays great offences.
And after this I saw four agents standing at the four corners of the earth, restraining the four winds of the earth, so that wind would not blow on the earth, or on the sea, or upon any tree.

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.
