Ye know this , my beloved brethren. But let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline.
He maketh the storm a calm, So that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they are quiet; So he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself, it tendeth only to evil-doing. For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.
If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for gentleness allayeth great offences.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
