6 Bible Verses about Bitter Herbs

The lips of an immoral woman drip as a honeycomb. Her mouth is smoother than oil. But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two edged sword.

You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you. Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness.
