Therefore encourage one another, and let each one help to strengthen his friend, as in fact you do.
On the contrary encourage one another, day after day, so long as To-day lasts, so that not one of you may be hardened through the deceitful character of sin.
But you, my dearly-loved friends, building yourselves up on the basis of your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
in order fully to equip His people for the work of serving--for the building up of Christ's body--

But let us, belonging--as we do--to the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not pre-destined us to meet His anger, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ; who died on our behalf, so that whether we are awake or are sleeping we may share His Life.
What then, brethren? Whenever you assemble, there is not one of you who is not ready either with a song of praise, a sermon, a revelation, a 'tongue,' or an interpretation. Let everything be done with a view to the building up of faith and character.
Therefore, seeing that you are ambitious for spiritual gifts, seek to excel in them so as to benefit the Church.
But we shall lovingly hold to the truth, and shall in all respects grow up into union with Him who is our Head, even Christ.
