7 Bible Verses about Christ's Joy

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy in you may continue, and that your joy may be full.

At this time Jesus was transported with joy in his spirit and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and knowing, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father, for such was thy good pleasure.

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders rejoicing: and coming home, he calleth his friends and neighbors together and saith unto them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost. Thus, I tell you, there shall be joy in heaven over one repenting sinner, more than over ninety-nine righteous persons, that have no need of repentance.

But now I am coming to Thee, and I speak these things in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.

looking unto Jesus the leader and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

And He that sent me, is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.

Verily I tell you, that ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman when she is in labor, hath sorrow, because her hour is come; but when she is delivered of the child, she thinks no more of the anguish, for joy, that a man is born into the world. And ye therefore now have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy shall no one take from you.
