For it has been written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bond-woman, and one by the free-woman. But the one by the bond-woman has been born after the flesh; and the one by the free-woman, through promise.

But, just as then, the one born after the flesh kept persecuting him born after the Spirit, so also is it now.
