For the body does not consist of only one part, but of many. If the foot says, "Since I'm not a hand, I'm not part of the body," that does not make it any less a part of the body, does it? Stop becoming unevenly yoked with unbelievers. What partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? What fellowship can light have with darkness?
Finally, brothers, goodbye. Keep on growing to maturity. Keep listening to my appeals. Continue agreeing with each other and living in peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
then fill me with joy by having the same attitude, sharing the same love, being united in spirit, and keeping one purpose in mind.
Finally, all of you must live in harmony, be sympathetic, love as brothers, and be compassionate and humble. Do not pay others back evil for evil or insult for insult. Instead, keep blessing them, because you were called to inherit a blessing.
