And LORD God planted a garden eastward, in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed.
When thou till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield to thee its strength. A fugitive and a wanderer thou shall be on the earth. And Cain said to LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
And Noah began to be a farmer, and planted a vineyard.
And Isaac sowed in that land, and found in the same year a hundredfold. And LORD blessed him.
Then Joseph said to the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh. Lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land.
And six years thou shall sow thy land, and shall gather in the increase of it,
Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shall not let thy cattle engender with a diverse kind. Thou shall not sow thy field with two kinds of seed, neither shall there come upon thee a garment of two kinds of stuff mingled together.
And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit of it as their uncircumcision. Three years they shall be as uncircumcised to you; it shall not be eaten.
Six years thou shall sow thy field, and six years thou shall prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruits of it, but in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to LORD. Thou shall neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
and houses full of all good things, which thou did not fill, and cisterns hewn out, which thou did not hew, vineyards and olive trees, which thou did not plant, and thou shall eat and be full,
And what man is there who has planted a vineyard, and has not used the fruit of it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man use the fruit of it.
Thou shall not sow thy vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole fruit be forfeited: the seed which thou have sown, and the increase of the vineyard. Thou shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.

And there he makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city of habitation, and sow fields, and plant vineyards, and get fruits of increase. He also blesses them, so that they are multiplied greatly, and he does not allow their cattle to decrease.
He who tills his land shall have plenty of bread, but he who pursues vanities is void of understanding.

Inasmuch therefore as ye trample upon the poor, and take exactions of wheat from him. Ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them. Ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink the wine thereof.
Behold, the days come, says LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed, and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
or does he speak altogether for our sake? For our sake, for it was written, He who plows ought to plow with hope, and he who threshes with his hope, with hope to share.
But this, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows in blessings will also reap in blessings.
