But I am hard pressed {between the two options}, having the desire to depart and to be with Christ, {for this is very much better}.

Therefore, [since] we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, putting aside every weight and {the sin that so easily ensnares us}, let us run with patient endurance the race that has been set before us,

And in those days people will seek death and will never find it, and they will long to die, and death will flee from them.

For indeed, in this [house] we groan, [because we] desire to put on our dwelling from heaven, if indeed, even [after we] have taken [it] off, we will not be found naked. For indeed we who are in this tent groan, being burdened {for this reason, that} we do not want to be unclothed, but to be clothed, in order that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.read more.

Therefore, [although we are] always confident and know that [while we] are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord-- for we live by faith, not by sight-- so we are confident and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
