But God hath opened them unto us by his spirit. For the spirit searcheth all things, yea the bottom of God's secrets.

But as it is written, "The eye hath not seen, and the ear hath not heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

he openeth the deep secrets; he knoweth the thing that lieth in darkness, for the light dwelleth with him.

They imagine wickedness, and keep it secret among themselves; every man in the deep of his heart.

Camest thou ever into the ground of the sea: or hast thou walked in the low corners of the deep? Have the gates of death been open unto thee, or hast thou seen the door of everlasting treasure?
