And he changeth the times and the seasons; he removeth kings, and setteth up kings; he giveth wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the sooth-sayers, cannot show to the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.read more.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged by no man.

But strong food belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding to the simple.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
