Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in thy name, and in thy name cast out demons, and in thy name work many miracles? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye go out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Truly do I say to you, It will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

But I say to you, It will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

And I say to you, that for every idle word that men shall speak, they will give account in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou wilt be justified, and by thy words thou wilt be condemned.

The men of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, lo! something more than Jonah is here. The queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and lo! something more than Solomon is here.

Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles, to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.

As therefore the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the world. The Son of man will send forth his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all the stumblingblocks, and those who do iniquity, and will cast them into the furnace of fire; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.read more.
Then will the righteous shine forth as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.

So will it be at the end of the world. The angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous, and will cast them into the furnace of fire; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

For the Son of man is to come in the glory of his Father, with his angels; and then will he render to every one according to his works.

Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

But he answering said, Truly do I say to you, I know you not, Watch, therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour. For it will be as when a man going abroad called his own servants, and intrusted to them his property; and to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his ability, and went abroad. He that had received the five talents went immediately and traded with the same, and gained five talents more. In like manner, he that had received the two gained two more. But he that had received the one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lords money. And after a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And he that had received the five talents came and brought five talents more, saying, Lord, thou intrustedst to me five talents; see, I have gained five talents more. His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant! thou hast been faithful over a little, I will place thee in charge of much; enter into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received the two talents came and said, Lord, thou intrustedst to me two talents; see, I have gained two talents more. Then he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee to be a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter seed; and I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth. See! thou hast thine own. But his lord answered and said to him, Wicked and slothful servant! Didst thou know that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I did not scatter seed? Thou oughtest then to have put my money with the moneydealers, and on my coming I should have received mine own with interest. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him who hath the ten talents. For to every one that hath will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him that hath not, even that which he hath will be taken away. And cast out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. And when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then will he sit on the throne of his glory, and before him will be gathered all the nations; and he will separate men one from another, as a shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats; and he will set the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on the left. Then will the king say to those on his right hand, Come, ye blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me. Then will the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? and when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? or when did we see thee sick, or in prison, and come to thee? And the king will answer and say to them, Truly do I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye did it to me. Then will he say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the everlasting fire, which is prepared for the Devil and his angels. For I was hungry, and ye gave me no food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then will they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee? Then will he answer them, saying, Truly do I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these will go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into everlasting life.

But into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go out into its streets and say, Even the dust of your city that cleaveth to our feet we wipe off to you; but know this, that the kingdom of God hath come near. And I tell you, that it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.read more.
Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to thee, Bethsaida! for if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment, than for you.

But there is nothing covered, that will not be revealed; and hid, that will not be known. Therefore, whatever ye have said in darkness, will be heard in the light; and what ye have spoken in the ear in closets, will be proclaimed upon the housetops. And I say to you my friends, Fear not those who kill the body, and after this can do nothing more.read more.
But I will warn you whom to fear; fear him who after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say to you, fear him.

Strive to enter in through the narrow door; for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able. When once the master of the house shall have risen, and shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us, and he answering shall say to you, I know not whence ye are; then will ye begin to say, We ate and drank in thy presence, and thou didst teach in our streets.read more.

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth there, when ye see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. For neither doth the Father judge any one, but hath committed all judgment to the Son;

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him; the word that I have spoken, that will judge him in the last day.

And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the day of the Lord cometh, the great and notable day. And it shall be that every one that calleth on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

and he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is he who hath been appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead.

inasmuch as he hath fixed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he hath appointed; having given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.

And as he discoursed of righteousness, and temperance, and the judgment to come, Felix became alarmed, and answered, Go thy way for the present; and when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

But according to thy hardness and impenitent heart, thou art treasuring up for thyself wrath against the day of wrath and of the manifestation of the righteous judgment of God, who will render to every one according to his works; everlasting life to those who by patient continuance in welldoing seek for glory, and honor, and incorruption;read more.
but to those who are contentious, and disobedient to the truth; but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and indignation. Tribulation and distress will be upon every soul of man whose works are evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace, to every one whoso works are good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For as many as have sinned without a law, will also perish without a law; and as many as have sinned under a law, will be judged by a law, for it is not the hearers of a law who are righteous before God, but the doers of a law will be accounted righteous; for when the gentiles, who have no law, do by nature what is required by the Law, these, having no law, are a law to themselves;read more.
since they show that what the Law requireth is written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts in turn accusing or defending them; in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to the gospel which I have preached.

But thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? And thou, too, why dost thou despise thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgmentseat of God. For it is written, "As I live, saith the Lord, to me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall give praise to God." So then every one of us will give account of himself to God.

the work of every one will be made manifest; for the day will show it; because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will prove what every ones work is. If the work which any one built thereon remaineth, he will receive reward; if any ones work shall be burned up, he will lose the reward; but he will be saved himself, yet as one escaping through fire.

So then judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the purposes of mens hearts; and then shall every one have his praise from God.

For we must all be made manifest before the judgmentseat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in his body, according to what he did, whether good or bad.

and to you the distressed rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be manifested from heaven, with the angels of his might, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus;

I charge thee before God, and Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom;

henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me at that day, and not to me only, but to all those who have loved his appearing.

For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just retribution, how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation, which at the first was spoken through the Lord, and was confirmed to us through those who heard him,

of the doctrine of baptisms, and of the laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of everlasting judgment.

And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment;

For if we sin willingly after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remaineth a sacrifice for sins; but a certain fearful looking for judgment, and an indignation by fire, which will devour the adversaries. He that hath set at nought the law of Moses dieth without mercy under two or three witnesses;read more.
of how much heavier punishment, think ye, will he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite to the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, "Vengeance belongeth to me, I will recompense, saith the Lord;" and again, "The Lord will judge his people."

who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the living and the dead.

the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unrighteous under punishment to the day of judgment;

but the present heavens and the present earth are by his word kept in store, reserved for fire against the day of judgment and the perdition of ungodly men.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein will be burned up. Seeing that all these things are thus to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat!

and the angels which kept not their principality, but left their own dwellingplace, he hath kept in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day;

Behold, he cometh with the clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

And the nations were enraged, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to them that fear thy name, the small and the great; and to destroy the destroyers of the earth.

And I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and the underworld gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged each one according to his works.read more.
And death and the underworld were cast into the lake of fire; this is the second death, the lake of fire. And if any one was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

Behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give to every one according as his work is.
