13 Bible Verses about Eternal State

For ye suffered also with my bonds, and took in worth the spoiling of your goods, and that with gladness, knowing in yourselves how that ye had in heaven a better, and an enduring substance.

Also, the fervent desire of the creatures abideth looking when the sons of God shall appear; because the creatures are subdued to vanity against their will: but for his will which subdueth them in hope. For the very creatures shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.

In my father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Blessed be God, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which through his abundant mercy begat us again unto a lively hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death,

And I saw a new heaven, and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth were vanished away, and there was no more sea.

And there shall be no more curse, but the seat of God and the lamb shall be in it: and his servants shall serve him. And they shall see his face, and his name shall be in their foreheads. We know surely if our earthy mansion wherein we now dwell were destroyed, that we have a building ordained of God, a habitation not made with hands, but eternal in heaven:

The wise, such as have taught others, shall glister as the shining of heaven: and those that have instructed the multitude unto Godliness, shall be as the stars, world without end.

And he that sat upon the seat said, "Behold I make all things new." And he said unto me, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."

For our exceeding tribulation, which is momentary and light, prepareth an exceeding and eternal weight of glory unto us, while we look not on the things which are seen, but on the things which are not seen. For things which are seen, are temporal: but things which are not seen are eternal.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, neither crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the old things are gone.
