Then Abraham rose up early in the morning and took bread and a skin of water and gave [it] to Hagar, putting [it] on her shoulder. And he sent her away with the child, and she went, wandering about in the wilderness, in Beersheba.

And [after] Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered to him, and he was beside the sea. And one of the rulers of the synagogue came--Jairus by name--and [when he] saw him, he fell down at his feet. And he was imploring him many [times], saying, "My little daughter {is at the point of death}! Come, lay your hands on her, so that she will get well and will live."

Now he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And [there] was at Capernaum a certain royal official whose son was sick. This man, [when he] heard that Jesus had come from Judea into Galilee, went to him and asked that he come down and heal his son, for he was about to die. So Jesus said to him, "Unless you [people] see signs and wonders, you will never believe!"read more.
The royal official said to him, "Sir, come down before my child dies!"
