She looketh well to the ways of her household, And eateth not the bread of idleness.

Let deacons be husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (but if a man knoweth not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the transgression of thy brethren, and their sin, for that they did unto thee evil.
