For behold, I will bring in a flood of water upon the earth to destroy all flesh from under heaven, wherein breath of life is, so that all that is in the earth shall perish.

Let not the water-flood drown me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

For this shall every saint make his prayer unto thee in due season; but in the great water-floods they shall not come nigh him.

"Thus sayeth the LORD: Behold, there shall waters arise out of the North: And shall grow to a great flood, running over and covering the land, the cities, and them that dwell therein. And the men shall cry, and all they that dwell in the land

and there fell a rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

And this must be unto me as the water of Noah. For like as I have sworn that I will not bring the water of Noah any more upon the world: so have I sworn, that I will never be angry with thee, nor reprove thee.

and great earthquakes shall be in all quarters, and hunger, and pestilence, and fearful things. And great signs shall there be from heaven.

And the flood came forty days and forty nights upon the earth, and the water increased and bare up the ark and it was lift up from off the earth.

For thus sayeth the LORD: behold, I will let peace into her, like a water flood, and the might of the Heathen like a flowing stream. Then shall ye suck, ye shall be born upon her sides, and be joyful upon her knees.

The floods are risen, O LORD. The floods have lift up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

For as in the days before the flood: they did eat and drink, marry, and were married, even unto the day that Noah entered in to the ship,

by the which things the world that then was perished, overflowen with the water.

They ate, they drank, they married wives and were married even unto the same day that Noah went into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

and the dove came to him again about eventide, and behold: there was in her mouth a leaf of an olive tree which she had plucked, whereby Noah perceived that the waters were abated upon the earth.

And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years:
