The one who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and the one who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. John 12:23-25

And Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man will be glorified. Truly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth [and] dies, it remains [by] itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. The one who loves his life loses it, and the one who hates his life in this world preserves it for eternal life.
