If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

What then? Are we better than others? By no means! For we have already brought a charge both against Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin.

Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any cheerful? let him sing praise. Is any sick among you? let him call to him the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; even if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.read more.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

My children, these things I write to you, that ye may not sin. And if any one have sinned, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And he is a propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
