“So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great and complete was its fall.”

The king gave orders, and they quarried great stones, valuable stones, to lay the foundation of the house (temple) with cut stones.

The foundation was of expensive stones, large stones, stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits.

I also saw that the temple (house) had a raised platform all around it; the foundations of the side chambers measured a full rod of six long cubits in height.
