James 5:9

Revelation 20:11-15

Then I saw a great, white throne and Him who was seated on it [i.e., probably Christ]. Earth and heaven fled from His presence and they were not found anywhere [again]. And I saw dead people, the most important and the least significant ones, standing in front of the throne, and books were opened. Then death and the unseen place of departed spirits were thrown into the lake of fire [i.e., after their spirits were reunited with some kind of a body]. This lake of fire is the second death. And if any person's [name] was not found recorded in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

1 Peter 4:5

But, they will have to answer to God, who will judge both those who are now alive and those who have already died, [for the way they have lived].

Look, the ones who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out [to bury you, too]." And instantly she fell dead right in front of him, and her spirit left her body. [Just then the] young men came in and found her dead. They carried her out and buried her with her husband.

Acts 13:8-11

But [another] magician, named Elymas (which means "the magician") opposed them, trying to discourage the magistrate from hearing about the faith. But Saul, [now] also called Paul, being filled with [the power of] the Holy Spirit, looked at him intently and said, "You child of the devil; you enemy of all that is right; you are full of deceit and every kind of evil [thing].
