You know that we will rule angels, not to mention things in this life, don't you?
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and worship God in reverence and fear in a way that pleases him.
To the person who conquers and continues to do what I've commanded to the end, I will give authority over the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter; shattering them like clay pots.'
To the one who conquers I will give a place to sit with me on my throne, just as I have conquered and have sat down with my Father on his throne.
How blessed and holy are those who participate in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them. They will be priests of God and the Messiah, and will rule with him for a thousand years.
