But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing from the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

And immediately Jesus reaching forth his hand, caught him, and saith to him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Jesus answering said to them, Verily I say to you, if ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this to the fig-tree, but also if ye shall say to this mountain, Be thou lifted up, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

For verily I say to you, Whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and cast into the sea, and not doubt in his heart, but believe that the things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.

But he that doubteth is condemned if he eat, because it is not of faith; for whatsoever is not of faith, is sin.

The governour answering said to them, Which of the two will ye that I release to you? They say, Barabbas. Pilate saith to them, What shall I do then with Jesus, who is called Christ? They all say to him, Let him be crucified. And the governour said, Why, what evil hath he done?read more.
But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. Then Pilate, seeing, that he could prevail nothing, but rather a tumult was made, took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just man: see ye to it. Then all the people answering said, His blood be on us and on our children. Then released he Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

And Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release to you the king of the Jews? (For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy) But the chief priests stirred up the people to desire, that he would rather release Barabbas to them.read more.
And Pilate answering said to them again, What will ye then that I do to him whom ye call the king of the Jews? And they cried out again, Crucify him. Then Pilate said to them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him. And Pilate, willing to satisfy the people, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.

And Pilate having called together the chief priests, and the rulers, and the people, Said to them, Ye have brought this man to me, as perverting the people; and behold, I having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man, touching the things whereof ye accuse him. Nor yet Herod; for I sent you to him; and lo, he hath done nothing worthy of death.read more.
I will therefore chastise and release him. For he was under a necessity of releasing one to them at the feast. And they cried all at once saying, Away with this man, and release to us Barabbas: (Who for an insurrection made in the city, and for murder had been cast into prison.) Pilate desiring to release Jesus, spake again to them. But they cried, saying, Crucify, crucify him. He said to them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise and release him. But they insisted with loud voices, requiring that he should be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. And Pilate gave sentence, that what they desired should be done. And he released to them him, that for insurrection and murder had been cast into prison, whom they desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

Every one that is of the truth, heareth my voice. Pilate saith to him, What is truth? And having said this, he went out again to the Jews, and saith to them, I find no fault in him. But ye have a custom, that I should release to you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release to you the king of the Jews? Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

But they, hearing that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they were walking, going into the country. And they went and told it to the rest, neither believed they them.read more.
Afterwards he appeared to the eleven, sitting at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen.

Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you: cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.
