Then said they to him, What shall we do, that we may work the works of God? Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
Saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
And having brought them out he said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved and thy houshold.

Believe me, because I am in the Father, and the Father in me; but if not, believe me for the sake of the works.
Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily; their voice is gone into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him; yet the world knew him not. He came to his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he privilege to become the sons of God, to them that believe in his name:
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven, against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who detain the truth in unrighteousness. For what is to be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it to them. For those things of him which are invisible, both his eternal power and Godhead, are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being understood by the things which are made, so that they are without excuse:read more.
Because knowing God, they did not glorify him as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their reasonings, and their foolish heart was darkened.
What then is the advantage of the Jew, or what the profit of the circumcision? Much every way; chiefly in that they were intrusted with the oracles of God. For what if some believed not? Shall their unbelief disannul the faithfulness of God?read more.
God forbid: let God be true, and every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Therefore to you who believe, he is precious: but to them who believe not, The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner. And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, to them who stumble, not believing the word, whereunto also they were appointed.
But he that doubteth is condemned if he eat, because it is not of faith; for whatsoever is not of faith, is sin.
One man esteemeth one day above another; another esteemeth every day alike; let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it to the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord; for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and none dieth to himself. But if we live, we live unto the Lord; and if we die, we die unto the Lord.read more.
Whether therefore we live or die, we are the Lord's.
Take heed, brethren, left there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God: But exhort one another daily, while it is called to day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin: (For we are made partakers of Christ, ifread more.

Whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he, that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
Afterwards he appeared to the eleven, sitting at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen.
