And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh, with the affections and lusts.
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit to death:
But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
For this cause God gave them up to vile affections. For even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Who knoweth the power of thy anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; lewdness, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Among whom also we all had our manner of life in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
For he put on righteousness as a breast-plate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.
That they told you there would be mockers in the last time, who would walk after their own ungodly lusts.

But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed; they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not, nor awake my love, until he please.
Woe to him that giveth his neighbor drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
