10 Bible Verses about Peacemakers

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace.

So then, let us follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build one another up.

If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.

if anyone is blameless, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, who are not accused of loose or unruly behavior.

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy.

Nabal is his name, and folly is with him; but I, your handmaid, did not see the young men of my lord, whom you sent. Now therefore, my lord, as the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, since the LORD has withheld you from blood guiltiness, and from avenging yourself with your own hand, now therefore let your enemies, and those who seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal. Now this present which your servant has brought to my lord, let it be given to the young men who follow my lord. Please forgive the trespass of your handmaid. For the LORD will certainly make my lord a sure house, because my lord fights the battles of the LORD; and evil shall not be found in you all your days. Though men may rise up to pursue you, and to seek your soul, yet the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD your God. He will sling out the souls of your enemies, as from the hollow of a sling. It shall come to pass, when the LORD has done to my lord according to all the good that he has spoken concerning you, and shall have appointed you prince over Israel, that this shall be no grief to you, nor offense of heart to my lord, either that you have shed blood without cause, or that my lord has avenged himself. When the LORD has dealt well with my lord, then remember your handmaid."

But he was pierced for our transgressions, and he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
