Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth! Sing praises to the Lord! Selah.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

A voice came forth from the throne, saying, "Give praise to our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!"

Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.

Let everything that has breath praise Yah! Praise Yah!

Sing to Yahweh a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the islands and their inhabitants.

Yah has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to Yah. I will sing of the loving kindness of Yahweh forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.

But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.

Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
