a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war, and in the multitude of counsellors there is saving health.

When there is among you any man that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chances by night, then he shall go abroad out of the camp; he shall not come within the camp. Thou shalt have a place also outside the camp where thou shalt go forth abroad; and thou shalt have a stake among thy weapons; and it shall be when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig with it and shalt turn back and cover thy excrement; for the LORD thy God walks in the midst of thy camp to deliver thee and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore, shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee and turn away from thee.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh

There is no man that has power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither does he have power over the day of death, and weapons are of no use in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

but I see another law in my members which rebels against the law of my mind, bringing captive unto the law of sin which is in my members.
