And his disciples came and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus. And Jesus hearing it, withdrew thence by ship into a desert place apart: but when the people heard thereof, they followed him by land out of the cities.

Then the disciples coming to Jesus apart said, Why could not we cast him out?

And when he was come into an house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

And as he sat on the mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

And as he sat on the mount of Olives, over-against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see.

I went up by revelation, and explained to them the gospel, which I preach among the Gentiles; but severally to those of eminence, lest by any means I should run, or should have run in vain.

And as he was praying apart, his Disciples were with him. And he asked them saying, whom say the people that I am?

And when thou prayest, thou shall not be as the hypocrites; for they love to pray, standing in the synagogues, and in the corners of the streets, that they may appear to men: verily I say unto you, they have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father, who seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

And he constrained his disciples, to go straightway into the vessel, and go before him to the other side, while he sent the multitude away. And having sent the multitude away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray.

And straightway he constrained his disciples to go into the boat, and go before to the other side toward Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. And having sent them away, he went to a mountain to pray.

Then cometh Jesus with them to a place called Gethsemane, and saith to the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

And they come to a place named Gethsemane; and he saith to his disciples, Sit here while I shall pray.

And going out, he went, according to his custom, to the mount of Olives, and his disciples also followed him. And when he was at the place he said to them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast,read more.
and kneeling down, he prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine be done.

And in those days he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in the prayer of God.
