and his disciples came and took up the body and buried it, and then went and told Jesus. And when Jesus heard it, He departed from thence in a ship to a solitary place of retirement: but the people hearing where He was followed Him on foot from the cities:

Then came the disciples to Jesus in private, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

And when He was come into the house, his disciples asked Him in private, Why could not we cast him out?

And when He was got to the mount of olives, the disciples came to Him in private and said, Tell us when these things shall be, and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world.

And as He was sitting on the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately,

And turning to the disciples, He said to them in particular, Blessed are the eyes that see what ye see:

But I went up according to a divine revelation, and laid before them the gospel which I preach among the gentiles: though privately to those of note, least I should run, or had run in vain.

And it came to pass, as He was praying in private, his disciples were with Him: and He asked them saying, Whom say the people that I am?

And when thou prayest, be not like the hypocrites; for they love to pray in public assemblies, and in the corners of the streets, that they may be taken notice of by men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret, will reward thee openly.

And presently after Jesus obliged the disciples to get into the ship, and to go before Him to the other side, while He dismissed the multitudes: and when He had dismissed them, He went up to a hill in private to pray.

And immediately He obliged his disciples to get into the ship, and to go before Him to the other side to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the people: and when He had sent them away, He retired into a mountain to pray.

Then went Jesus with them to a place called Gethsemane, and saith to the disciples, Sit here, while I go there and pray:

And they came to a place called Gethsemane, and He saith to his disciples, Sit here whilst I go and pray.

And He came out and went, as He used to do, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed Him. And when He was at the place, He said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. And when He was withdrawn from them about a stone's-cast, He kneeled down and prayed saying,read more.
Father, if thou art willing take away this cup from me---nevertheless, not my will but thine be done.

And in those days He went out to a mountain to pray, and He continued all night in prayer to God.
