12 Bible Verses about Reasons Why The World Hates Christians

and you shall be hated by all men for my sake. But he that endures to the end shall be saved.

If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before you.

Adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity against God? Whoever therefore wishes to be a friend of the world, is made an enemy of God.

Then they shall deliver you to affliction, and kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations on my account;

being filled with all wickedness, malice, covetousness, vice, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil dispositions, whisperers, evil speakers, haters of God, injurious, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

But all these things they will do to you, on my account, because they know not him that sent me.

But [they do this] that the word written in their law may be fulfilled, They hated me without cause.

And this is the judgment; that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light, because their deeds are evil.

Have I therefore become your enemy, by telling you the truth?

For the word of the cross is to the lost foolishness, but to the saved the power of God.

For the name of God is blasphemed on your account among the nations as it is written.

Blessed are the persecuted for righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say every evil against you, falsely, for my sake. Rejoice and exult, for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.
