But your iniquities have built barriers
between you and your God,
and your sins have made Him hide His face from you
so that He does not listen.

But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah.

everything to Himself
by making peace
through the blood of His cross—
whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In His flesh, He made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that He might create in Himself one new man from the two, resulting in peace. Look at how great a love the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children. And we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it didn’t know Him. Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him because we will see Him as He is.

For if their rejection brings reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?
