Then some of his disciples said to one another, "What is this that he says to us, 'A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me'; and, 'because I go to the Father'?"
Now Jesus knew that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, "Are you asking yourselves about what I meant when I said, 'A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me'?
Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead. And behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. Behold, I have told you."
Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brethren to go to Galilee; and there they will see me."
But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you."
Saying this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus.
Mary Magdalene went and said to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them that he had said these things to her.
And when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe it.
Later he appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger in the mark of the nails, and put my hand in his side, I will not believe."
Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all tribes of the earth will mourn because of him. Even so. Amen.
