Wherefore, Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Then he opened their mind, that they might understand the scriptures, and he said to them: Thus it is written, and thus was it necessary that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day,
