They therefore took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus concealed himself, and went out of the temple.
The Jews again took up stones to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shown you from the Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, Not for a good work do we stone thee, but for blasphemy, and because thou, who art a man, makest thyself God.
