Or hath God tried to go in to take to Himself, a nation from the midst of a nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a strong hand, and by a stretched-out arm, and by great terrors -- according to all that Jehovah your God hath done to you, in Egypt, before your eyes?
O God, in holiness is Thy way, Who is a great god like God? Thou art the God doing wonders. Thou hast made known among the peoples Thy strength, Thou hast redeemed with strength Thy people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
Art not Thou it that is drying up a sea, Waters of a great deep? That hath made deep places of a sea A way for the passing of the redeemed?

because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men; for see your calling, brethren, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but the foolish things of the world did God choose, that the wise He may put to shame; and the weak things of the world did God choose that He may put to shame the strong;
