And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to each one according to his own ability, and he went on a journey immediately.
For [it is] like a man going on a journey. He summoned his own slaves and handed over his property to them.
But the one who had received the one went away [and] dug up the ground and hid his master's money.
For to everyone who has, [more] will be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
And the one who had received the five talents came up [and] brought five more talents, saying, 'Master, you handed over to me five talents. See, I have gained five more talents!'
The one who had received the five talents went out [and] traded with them and gained five more.
His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few [things]; I will put you [in charge] over many [things]. Enter into the joy of your master!'
but having different gifts according to the grace given to us: if [it is] prophecy, according to the proportion of [his] faith;
up to one hundred talents of silver, one hundred measures of wheat, one hundred baths of wine, one hundred baths of oil, and {unlimited salt}.
And large hailstones, weighing about a hundred pounds, came down from the sky upon people, and the people blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, because the plague of it was very great.
Then you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and [when I] returned I would have gotten back [what was] mine with interest!
And [because I] was afraid, I went away [and] hid your talent in the ground. See, you have [what is] yours!'
Therefore take the talent from him and give [it] to the one who has the ten talents.
And [when] he began to settle [them], someone was brought to him who owed ten thousand talents.
And Amaziah said to the man of God, "Now what [should I] do with the one hundred talents that I have given to the troops of Israel?" And the man of God said, "{Yahweh is able to give} to you more than this."
And he hired from Israel one hundred thousand strong, mighty warriors for one hundred talents.
I weighed out into their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, one hundred vessels of silver, one hundred talents of gold,
Then she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, abundant spices, and precious stones. Spices as these did not come again in such abundance [as that which] the queen of Sheba brought to King Solomon.
And the one [who had] the two talents also came up [and] said, 'Master, you handed over to me two talents. See, I have gained two talents more!'
three thousand talents of gold from the gold of Ophir and seven thousand talents of refined silver to overlay the walls of the houses,
Now after a long time, the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them.
But his master answered [and] said to him, 'Evil and lazy slave! You knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather from where I did not scatter [seed].
And they gave for the service of the house of God five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, ten thousand talents of silver, eighteen thousand talents of bronze, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.
And the one who had received the one talent came up also [and] said, 'Master, [because I] knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering from where you did not scatter [seed].
And summoning ten of his own slaves, he gave them ten minas and said to them, 'Do business {until I come back}.'
His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few [things]; I will put you [in charge] over many [things]. Enter into the joy of your master!'
Just as each one has received a gift, [use] it for serving one another, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.
Then Naaman said, "Be prepared to accept two talents." So he urged him and tied up two talents of silver in two bags, with two sets of clothing and gave it to two of his servants and they carried it before him.
The gift of a person will open doors for him, and before the great, it gives him access.
And throw the worthless slave into the outer darkness--in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!'
As the king [was] passing by, he called to the king and said, "Your servant went out in the thick of the battle, and suddenly a man turned and brought a man to me and said, 'Guard this man. If by any means he should be missed, it will be your life in his place, or you shall pay a talent of silver.'
He took the crown of their king from his head. (Now its weight [was] a talent of gold, and there [was] a precious stone [in it] and it [was] put on David's head.) He brought out the plunder of the city {in great abundance}.
So the master of that slave, [because he] had compassion, released him and forgave him the loan.
And it happened [that] the weight of the gold that came to Solomon in one year [was] six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,
And another came, saying, 'Sir, behold your mina, which I had put away for safekeeping in a piece of cloth.
And he said to him, 'Well done, good slave! Because you have been faithful in a very small thing, {have authority} over ten cities.'
Then the king of Egypt deposed him in Jerusalem and laid a tribute upon the land [of] one hundred talents of silver and one talent of gold.
They went to Ophir and imported from there four hundred and twenty talents of gold, and they brought it to King Solomon.
And the bronze of the wave offering [was] seventy talents and two thousand four hundred shekels.
The weight of the gold that came to Solomon in one year [was] six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,
And look, the lead cover was lifted and a woman [was] sitting inside the basket.

It will be made [from] a talent of pure gold, with all these [pieces of] equipment.
Then he made {the most holy place}. Its length {was equal to} the width of the house: twenty cubits. And its breadth [was] twenty cubits. And he overlaid it with six hundred talents of fine gold.
