There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: and one star differeth from another star in glory.

And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine on it; for the glory of God hath inlightened it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and moon, and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea roaring and tossing:

blood and fire, and vapour of smoke, The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the day of the Lord, the great and illustrious day, come.

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
