Israel saw the great work which the LORD did to the Egyptians, and the people feared the LORD; and they believed in the LORD, and in his servant Moses.
For this cause I also suffer these things. Yet I am not ashamed, for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed to him against that day.

The LORD will also be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Israel, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield. House of Aaron, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield. You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.
Blessed be the LORD, my Rock, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to battle: my loving kindness, my fortress, my high tower, my deliverer, my shield, and he in whom I take refuge; who subdues my people under me.
"You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.

Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it. Then Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, "The LORD, the God of Israel, who sit above the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. Incline your ear, LORD, and hear. Open your eyes, LORD, and see. Hear the words of Sennacherib, with which he has sent to defy the living God.read more.
Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands, and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone. Hezekiah the king, and Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, prayed because of this, and cried to heaven.
May the LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge."

But I trust in you, LORD. I said, "You are my God." My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.

Behold, the LORD's eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness; to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine. Our soul has waited for the LORD. He is our help and our shield.read more.
