Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am withered away. O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled. And thou, O LORD, how long? Return, O LORD, deliver my soul. Save me for thy loving kindness' sake.

[Yet] LORD will command his loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, [even] a prayer to the God of my life.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, these may forget, yet I will not forget thee. Behold, I have engraved thee upon the palms of my hands. Thy walls are continually before me.
