After Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, wise men from the east arrived unexpectedly in Jerusalem,

They were the seven officials of Persia and Media who had personal access to the king and occupied the highest positions in the kingdom.
Where then are your wise men?
Let them tell you and reveal
what the Lord of Hosts has planned against Egypt.
In every matter of wisdom and understanding that the king consulted them about, he found them 10 times better than all the diviner-priests and mediums in his entire kingdom.

because God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength.
