'Avoid' in the Bible

“When you are encamped against your enemies, be careful to avoid anything offensive.

Avoid it; don’t travel on it.Turn away from it, and pass it by.

For the discerning the path of life leads upward,so that he may avoid going down to Sheol.

The one who reveals secrets is a constant gossip;avoid someone with a big mouth.

a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;a time to embrace and a time to avoid embracing;

The one who lives righteouslyand speaks rightly,who refuses gain from extortion,whose hand never takes a bribe,who stops his ears from listening to murderous plotsand shuts his eyes to avoid endorsing evil—

Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause dissensions and obstacles contrary to the doctrine you have learned. Avoid them,

But avoid foolish debates, genealogies, quarrels, and disputes about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.
