'Calm' in the Bible

If the anger of the ruler flares up against you, do not resign from your position, for a calm response can undo great offenses.

Tell him, 'Make sure you stay calm! Don't be afraid! Don't be intimidated by these two stubs of smoking logs, or by the raging anger of Rezin, Syria, and the son of Remaliah.

I will exhaust my rage on you, and then my fury will turn from you. I will calm down and no longer be angry.

They came and woke him, saying, "Master, Master, we are about to die!" So he got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waves; they died down, and it was calm.
