So then, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn't there more to life than food and more to the body than clothing?

Look at the birds in the sky: They do not sow, or reap, or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you more valuable than they are? And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life? Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers of the field grow; they do not work or spin.read more.

And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, won't he clothe you even more, you people of little faith? So they came and woke him up saying, "Lord, save us! We are about to die!"
But he was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. They woke him up and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care that we are about to die?"

When Jesus learned of this, he said, "You who have such little faith! Why are you arguing among yourselves about having no bread?
The Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, gods of wood and stone. Among those nations you will have no rest nor will there be a place of peaceful rest for the soles of your feet, for there the Lord will give you an anxious heart, failing eyesight, and a spirit of despair.
(Gimel) Judah has departed into exile under affliction and harsh oppression. She lives among the nations; she has found no resting place. All who pursued her overtook her in narrow straits.
Then he said to me, "Son of man, I am about to remove the bread supply in Jerusalem. They will eat their bread ration anxiously, and they will drink their water ration in terror because they will lack bread and water. Each one will be terrified, and they will rot for their iniquity.
Then say to the people of the land, 'This is what the sovereign Lord says about the inhabitants of Jerusalem and of the land of Israel: They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water in fright, for their land will be stripped bare of all it contains because of the violence of all who live in it.
Do not be angry and frustrated! Do not fret! That only leads to trouble!
Anxiety in a person's heart weighs him down, but an encouraging word brings him joy.
But Martha was distracted with all the preparations she had to make, so she came up to him and said, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do all the work alone? Tell her to help me." But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things, but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the best part; it will not be taken away from her."
And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life?
You keep completely safe the people who maintain their faith, for they trust in you.
But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Instead, pursue his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
My blessing is on those people who trust in me, who put their confidence in me. They will be like a tree planted near a stream whose roots spread out toward the water. It has nothing to fear when the heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no need to be concerned in a year of drought. It does not stop bearing fruit.
For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,
Throw your burden upon the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the godly to be upended.
Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
If I say, "My foot is slipping," your loyal love, O Lord, supports me. When worries threaten to overwhelm me, your soothing touch makes me happy.
