For I have kept the ways of the Lordand have not turned from my God to wickedness.
Indeed, I have kept all His ordinances in mindand have not disregarded His statutes.
I was blameless toward Himand kept myself from sinning.
When I kept silent, my bones became brittlefrom my groaning all day long.
For the Lord loves justiceand will not abandon His faithful ones. They are kept safe forever, but the children of the wicked will be destroyed.
I was speechless and quiet;I kept silent, even from speaking good, and my pain intensified.
You have done these things, and I kept silent;you thought I was just like you.But I will rebuke youand lay out the case before you.
You have kept me from closing my eyes;I am troubled and cannot speak.
Despite all this, they kept sinningand did not believe His wonderful works.
He spoke to them in a pillar of cloud;they kept His decrees and the statutes He gave them.
You have commanded that Your preceptsbe diligently kept.
Take insult and contempt away from me,for I have kept Your decrees.
I have kept my feet from every evil pathto follow Your word.
