'Land' in the Bible

And again he began to teach by the sea. And a great crowd was gathered together to him, so that going on board ship he sat in the sea, and all the crowd were close to the sea on the land.

And when evening was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone upon the land.

And having passed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and made the shore.

And when the sixth hour was come, there came darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour;
