'Name' in the Bible

So He became higher in rank than the angels, just as the name He inherited is superior to theirs.

saying:I will proclaim Your name to My brothers;I will sing hymns to You in the congregation.

For God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you showed for His name when you served the saints—and you continue to serve them.

and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything;first, his name means king of righteousness,then also, king of Salem,meaning king of peace;

Therefore, through Him let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that confess His name.
