'Shepherds' in the Bible

These men are shepherds, for they have been keepers of livestock, and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.'

Pharaoh said to his brothers, "What is your occupation?" They said to Pharaoh, "Your servants are shepherds, both we, and our fathers."

The shepherds came and drove them away; but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.

He said: "Yahweh will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, and the top of Carmel will wither."

He will be our peace when Assyria invades our land, and when he marches through our fortresses, then we will raise against him seven shepherds, and eight leaders of men.
