'Son' in the Bible
concerning his Son, who was born {a descendant} of David according to the flesh,
who was declared Son of God in power according to {the Holy Spirit} by the resurrection from the dead of Jesus Christ our Lord,
For God, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, is my witness, how constantly I make mention of you,
For if, [while we] were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, by much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
For what [was] impossible for the law, in that it was weak through the flesh, God [did]. [By] sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,
because [those] whom he foreknew, he also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, so that he should be the firstborn among many brothers.
Indeed, [he] who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, together with him, freely give us all [things]?
For the statement of the promise [is] this: "At this time I will return and {Sarah will have} a son."
