the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning until the appointed time, and seventy thousand men of the people from Dan to Beersheba died.
Pharaoh arose in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians, and there was
a great cry in Egypt, for there was no home where there was not someone dead.
Those who died by the plague were 24,000.

He struck down some of the men of Beth-shemesh because they had looked into the ark of the Lord. He struck down of all the people, 50,070 men, and the people mourned because the Lord had struck the people with a great slaughter.
