David Helps Solomon Prepare To Build The Temple

¹⁶ And of gold, silver, brass and iron there is no number. Up, therefore, and set upon it, and the LORD shall be with thee." ¹⁷ And David commanded all the lords of Israel, to help Solomon his son, saying, ¹⁸ "Is not the LORD your God with you? And hath he not given you rest on every side? For he hath given the inhabiters of the land into mine hand and the land is subdued before the LORD and before his people.

And David gathered together all the lords of Israel: the lords of the tribes, the lords of the companies that ministered to the king by course, the lords over the thousands and over the hundreds, and the lords over all the goods and cattle of the king and of his sons, with the chamberlains, warriors and all active men unto Jerusalem.
